White Nights

1. My nose is stuffed with mucus. I'm snoring even when awake.

2. My primary school friend appeared at my doorstep (literally) at 7am yesterday. It was great fun and what's funny about it is that we lost contact in Singapore, but somehow we managed to meet up in Amsterdam. Thanks to facebook.

3. Last sat was Sint Nicolaas day, which is the most important date in Netherlands. There is a long story behind St Nic (St Nic is not Santa Claus by the way). I had the loveliest dinner party at Susanna's place - also a crashcourse in different European traditions -
