eyes are tired. hate facing the compuer 24/7. can't stand the weather all dark and gloomy. it feels like 10pm when it's actually only 6pm.

ooh finally got my residence permit - without fuss, without hassle! such a rare occasion that calls for a celebration. i now possess an "official" and "legal" status here. we are never born as free individuals; identity is defined by markers of class, gender, nationality - paperwork. dreadful because you know how admin stuff and me don't get along well. but i won't complain today.

had a great weekend with bat for lashes - such an amazing live performance! and yes i can finally dance as i please, without having to feel conscious about my extremely bad dance style. f u lousy sg clubs where people only want to look sexy dancing. so much more fun here!
